Svimed has shown the ARISTOIL CAPITALIZATION project during a training course on “Olive oil trees pruning” was held last February 13th 2020 in Chiaramonte Gulfi (Province of Ragusa); this training course has been organized by APO Catania (Association of olive oil producers, millers, farmers), University of Catania-Department of Agriculture, PDO Monti Iblei Consortium (Consortium of PDO olive oil Monti Iblei). Svimed has been invited for presenting the project aim and the activities will be implemented. This info day has been an occasion for launching the project at local level, for informing all participants, about the dissemination and training activities will be organized about the reinforcement of the olive oil sector through capacity building for the production of high quality olive oil with health protective properties. The project, based on the exchange of good practices in olive oil producing countries, aspires to create a pool of adequately trained stakeholders of the olive oil sector, namely: producers, olive millers, bottling companies, etc…. who will be able to add value to their final product.
